CIENCE review 2026: pricing, approach, and alternatives
An honest look at CIENCE: what the AI-platform-led SDR operation actually sells, how its published pricing works, what its reviews say, and when a calling-first alternative fits better.

The disclosure up front: we compete with CIENCE. A-Sales is a B2B lead generation agency, and buyers evaluating outsourced sales development often shortlist both. So this review sticks to what you can verify on CIENCE's own site and its public review profiles, and is explicit about where CIENCE's model is a legitimate choice.
What CIENCE actually sells
CIENCE is an outbound provider headquartered in Miami, Florida, that says it has run outsourced SDR programmes since 2015; its assets are now owned by graph8, whose platform runs underneath the service. Outreach spans email, calling, LinkedIn, ads and direct mail, with AI-assisted research and human SDRs. The pitch is an outsourced SDR operation where software does much of the orchestration and SDRs, offshore, European or US-based, run the motion on top of it.
One structural detail matters when you budget: the price is built from separate lines (setup, strategy team, platform, SDR capacity and, where agreed, per-meeting fees), so compare quotes on the total, not the headline.
CIENCE pricing
CIENCE publishes an itemised price list (checked October 2026): a $5,000 one-time setup, $2,000 a month for the strategy team and $499 a month for the graph8 platform, so $7,499 in the first month before any SDRs. SDR capacity is priced separately by region: $1,500 to $3,500 a month offshore, $2,500 to $4,500 in Europe and $4,500 to $6,500 in the US. Terms are month-to-month. That transparency is a genuine strength; just add the lines up for the team you actually need.
What the reviews say
CIENCE holds a 4.2/5 on Clutch across 142 reviews. The spread is the honest story: the best reviews describe a steady one-to-two meetings a week landing on the calendar, and the worst is blunt: "Waste of $24k". That range is not unusual for a provider running many engagements at once, but it is exactly why we suggest reading the extremes together rather than trusting the average, whoever the vendor is.
Where the models genuinely differ
The row-by-row version lives at A-Sales vs CIENCE; the differences that change a buying decision are three:
a-sales.co/comparisons/a-sales-vs-cienceA-Sales vs CienceLooking for an alternative to Cience? See how a performance-led, calling-first agency compares on data, tooling, and reviews.Read the comparison- Model. CIENCE is a large outsourced SDR operation built around its AI platform. A-Sales is a 65-person team where senior callers open the conversations themselves: cold calling is the core channel, not a supporting one.
- Pricing. CIENCE builds the price from setup, team, platform and SDR lines. A-Sales engagements start from $4,000 a month, and pay-per-appointment is available once your target profile is proven: you pay for meetings held against an agreed qualification standard, not for activity.
- Data. A-Sales includes list building and data in the service rather than itemising it.
Who should pick which
Pick CIENCE if you want a platform-led SDR operation with the scale to run high-volume, multi-channel campaigns, and a managed engagement fits how you buy.
Pick A-Sales if you want the people scoping your campaign to be the people on the phones, one engagement price rather than a stack of line items, and the option of pipeline priced as meetings held. Our case studies are the evidence to check us against.
And whichever way you go, get the same three answers in writing: what counts as a qualified meeting, what a no-show costs you, and what exactly appears on the invoice.
